Early Stage Mycosis Fungoides - Approaches to Management

The topic of managing early stage patients with mycosis fungoides was chosen because the vast majority of patients present with early stage disease. At this time the plan for the Workshop is to:

  • Use real cases to illustrate complexities of management.
  • Discuss the benefits and risks of each therapy.
  • Explore the rate of progression to advanced stage.
  • Focus on when to transition to systemic agents.
  • Discuss radiotherapy in the management of early stage mycosis fungoides.

For the first time at the USCLC Workshop we will use audience response devices to engage the physicians and generate consensus.

The Workshop is an interactive meeting of dermatologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and transplantation specialists.
